STEVE POCKROSS
CEO
Hometown: Denver, CO
Favorite Word: Hootenanny
Steve Pockross
Steve brings more than 20 years of startup, nonprofit, and Fortune 500 experience to his role as bon vivant of Verblio. He was part of the early management team at crowdsourcing pioneer LiveOps and previously led five SaaS and marketing businesses. Outside the office, Steve enjoys ultimate frisbee, telemark skiing, hosting jazz concerts, and spending time with his two boys. Steve hosts Verblio's podcast and stars in some truly strange video ads.

GREG LEVOW
COO & CTO
Hometown: New York, NY
Favorite Word: Aardvark
GREG LEVOW
Hailing from the Empire State, Greg is Verblio's Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer. He's also extremely skilled at moving people into and out of zoom breakout rooms. Prior to joining Verblio, he founded an ag-tech startup that uses simulation modeling and weather data to help farmers optimize their fertilizer usage and improve yields, while reducing environmental impact. When he’s not solving hard problems that intersect business and technology, you’ll find Greg in front of a hot BBQ, cold drink in hand, cooking up something big.

Jason Sindler
CFO
Hometown: Baltimore, MD (adopted Denver in 2000)
Favorite Word: Shenanigans
Jason Sindler
Jason is our resident spreadsheet ninja and currently ranked 28th Worldwide (and 5th in the US) in the Financial Modeling World Cup. He brings 20 years of financial experience to his role at Verblio, where he helps cull information from our data. Before that, Jason worked in corporate finance and consulted for startups, wineries, and even the PBR (Professional Bull Riders). When he's not on his laptop, Jason is a domestic first responder and can be found spending time with his family.

BRAD KEMP
SVP, Business Development
Hometown: Port Huron, MI
Favorite Word: Arugula
BRAD KEMP
Brad loves pizza, but not pineapple on pizza. When he’s not leading enterprise sales efforts, you'll find him achieving the perfect Neapolitan-style pizza crust. Spontaneous and rarely bored, he also excels at 90s music trivia. Before Verblio, Brad spent most of his career building and leading sales teams, most recently launching and growing a platform that makes it easy for Fortune 1000 companies to find video production freelancers.

PAUL ZALEWSKI
SVP, Marketing
Hometown: St. Louis, MO
Favorite Word: Yup
PAUL ZALEWSKI
Paul runs marketing at Verblio and is a self-proclaimed digital marketing and SEO nerd. (Checking Google Analytics is his favorite form of procrastination). Although digitally savvy, Paul has a rare genetic defect that makes him incapable of understanding memes. His prerequisite I-live-in-Colorado activity is snowboarding, and his prerequisite millennial drink of choice is bulletproof coffee. Verblio colleagues do not approve of his favorite word.

MANDI O’BRIEN
VP, Product & Design
Hometown: Portland, OR
Favorite Word: Asterisk
MANDI O’BRIEN
Mandi loves to find simplicity and beauty in the most complex challenges. Her role as Director of Design and Product at Verblio allows her to honor her roots as a true polymath. Prior to Verblio, Mandi worked at fast-growing startups in NYC. Recently, she and her two orange tabby cats relocated to Denver, where they are enjoying their sweet views of the Rocky Mountains. When she’s not working on the latest UX innovation for Verblio, she enjoys music, the outdoors, storytelling, games, and tacos.

ZOE TREESON
VP, Operations
Hometown: Albuquerque, NM
Favorite Word: Bedraggled
ZOE TREESON
As senior director of operations, Zoe draws on her background in business and film production to help Verblio customers tell their stories. Outside of the office, Zoe does all the (Boulder) things—hiking, cycling, running. Only her complete disinterest in snow sports differentiates her from your average Boulderite. Yet somehow, we’ve found it in our hearts to forgive her.

Laura Smous
VP, Product Marketing
Hometown: Chicago, IL
Favorite Word: Feucht
Laura Smous
Laura blends over 20 years of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and agency experience with a love for marketing and passion for data to help companies unlock the power of great content to grow brands. When she’s not in the throes of pricing and packaging or go-to-market strategy, she is probably on a bicycle. Laura maintains a constant ratio of two rescue dogs and two rescue cats at all times. She received a BS in Computer Information Systems and International Business from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, as well as a BA in Germanic Studies.

Ted Russo
Director of Strategic Accounts
Hometown: Colorado Springs, CO
Favorite Word: Hubbub
Ted Russo
Ted brings over a decade of experience in marketing and sales leadership to Verblio. The brilliant creatives that surround him at work inspire him to pursue his artistic passions, but his tastes have been called "unconventional" by undiscerning observers. In fact, he runs a film festival featuring the worst movies ever made (and he's taking suggestions if you've seen some truly terrible ones). When he’s not helping agencies and publishers maximize their content strategy, he loves hanging out with his children, skiing, playing his ukulele terribly, or hitting the trails with his best friend and doggo-extraordinaire, Marty.

ALEXA BARAY
Director of Enterprise Operations
Hometown: Coral Springs, FL
Favorite Word: Tsundoku
ALEXA BARAY
Alexa is a trilingual bibliophile with a severe case of nerdiness. Her Verblio journey began in 2016, when she first became a Verblio writer. From there, Alexa inexplicably found herself in the role of account manager, and finally coerced worked her way into the operations team. Now, she happily manages Verblio’s professional services from her home office in Florida. When she’s not spamming Slack with pictures of her husky, you’ll find Alexa playing video games, boating, re-reading Harry Potter, or singing showtunes.

Ryan Sargent
Director of Content Marketing
Hometown: Portland, OR / San Antonio, TX
Favorite Word: Rigmarole
Ryan Sargent
A musician-turned-marketer and leader of Verblio’s content team, Ryan is passionate about building creative content, serving it up to the right audiences, and hoping people leave something in the email sign up form. When he isn’t sorting out the puzzle of how best to build a content marketing strategy that appeals to other content marketers, you can find Ryan with his trombone playing jazz, hip-hop, and funk covers throughout Colorado.

Josh Duvauchelle
Director of Marketplace Operations
Hometown: Poipu, Hawaii
Favorite Word: Chill
Josh Duvauchelle
Josh was born and raised in Hawaii. Having spent years as a magazine journalist and digital media writer, Josh deeply understands and loves the writer community. And with more than 10 years of experience in marketing and operations management for SaaS startups, national nonprofits, and global e-commerce and education brands, Josh loves to nerd out over data, analytics, and optimizing processes. When he isn't strategically combining those two passions at Verblio, you can find Josh chasing his three kids: A son, a daughter, and a French bulldog.

CHARLENE BAKER
Strategic Account Manager
Hometown: Chesapeake, VA
Favorite Word: Awesome
CHARLENE BAKER
Better known as Char, or Verblio's own personable, personal ray of sunshine. Char is passionate about ensuring our customers are off to a great start with Verblio and continue winning inside our platform. Interesting fact: She's the only chick on our squad who's on two teams, Operations, and Marketing & Sales. Yup, Char's everywhere! When she's not remotely hanging out with her fellow Verblions, you'll find her enjoying quality time with her hubby and two kids. Much like her favorite word, Char is awesome.

CAROLINE RIDEOUT
Senior Sales Manager
Hometown: Olympia, WA
Favorite Word: Sublime
CAROLINE RIDEOUT
With over six years of SEO and content marketing experience, Caroline is thrilled to bring her expertise to Verblio’s diverse customer base. When she’s not in the office, you’ll find her painting outdoors, perusing her favorite volumes of poetry, and fawning over other people's dogs. Caroline is also Verblio’s elusive, enigmatic dolphin tamer, a skill she picked up from five years of living in Hawaii.

GINNY MITCHELL
Sr. Manager, Enterprise Customer Success
Hometown: Estes Park, CO
Favorite Word: Visceral
GINNY MITCHELL
Ginny is a mountain-lover and true crime podcast aficionado. She brings her background in biology to her role as Verblio’s enterprise account manager, where it’s not particularly relevant, which is true for most college majors. Before becoming a Verblion, Ginny worked at the United Way of Salt Lake as the resource development director. When she’s not managing Verblio’s team of helpful account managers, Ginny enjoys skiing, gardening, hiking, scuba diving, sailing, music, and comedy.

Margaret Browne
Senior Manager, Marketplace Operations
Hometown: Dallas, TX
Favorite Word: Spooky
Margaret Browne
Our token Texan, Margaret brings with her a love of authentic Tex-Mex, tequila, and the occasional y’all. A true Verblion, she left behind her role as a marketing manager in San Antonio to pursue her MFA in Creative Writing here in Colorado. Her project management & marketing experience, along with her love of collaboration and creative problem solving, make her a great addition to the operations team. Outside of work, Margaret can be found running, reading, and writing--all while alliterating wildly.

Brittnee Spears
Marketing Manager
Hometown: St. Louis, MO
Favorite Word: Sesh
Brittnee Spears
Brittnee is an adventure seeking mountain lover. Her role as the marketing manager at Verblio allows her to be strategic, creative, curious, & encourages her passion to be a lifelong learner. She runs a tight ship, so beware. Outside the office, you will find her doing all the quintessential Colorado activities or traveling to new places while eating, drinking, and soaking up all the things. She loves immersing herself in new cultures & experiences. Yes– she’s that crazy Colorado person you will find hiking 14ers, rock climbing, and tent camping with husband and their 2 year old in tow.

ALICE WARD
Product Manager
Hometown: Durham, NC
Favorite Word: Penultimate
ALICE WARD
Alice brings her passion for learning about others and problem solving to her role as Verblio’s junior product manager, where she helps make the Verblio platform enjoyable and user friendly for all. Outside of the office, Alice enjoys coffee, beautifully groomed ski runs, and perfectly cooked salmon. We’re thankful Alice broke with tradition and decided not to study natural science like the rest of her family, because it brought her to us.

Molly Michieli
Product Marketing Manager
Hometown: Denver, CO
Favorite Word: Joy
Molly Michieli
As Product Marketing Manager, Molly loves getting to research and explore new ways Verblio can grow. With 12 years of experience in communications and marketing, Molly brings to the team a passion for writing and storytelling. In addition to her exciting role on team Verblio, Molly enjoys playing with her two young daughters, getting outside, cooking, and laughing with her big, hilarious, and loving family.

Casey Cline
Senior Manager, Professional Services
Hometown: Barberton, OH
Favorite Word: Flabbergasted
Casey Cline
As a writer-turned-account manager, Casey loves building genuine rapport with clients through empathy, humor, and problem-solving. More than one client has referred to her as “part account manager, part therapist,” which about sums it up. She loves long-term travel, her senior rescue mutt Miles, getting lost in the woods, Jane Austen, writing fiction, and visiting animal sanctuaries. So far, she has hugged elephants, sloths, and spider monkeys but she really has her heart set on hugging a baby kangaroo.

Hannah Rosebraugh
UX/UI Designer
Hometown: Rossville, IL
Favorite Word: Komorebi
Hannah Rosebraugh
A Denver transplant from the Windy City, Hannah considers herself a Jack of all trades. She’s dabbled in design, gymnastics, rock climbing instruction, and professional pizza serving. What do all of these seemingly random things have in common? People! Hannah loves unlocking the mysteries of the human psyche and considers herself a communications ninja. This, combined with her not so secret love of organizing, suits her role as Verblio’s Junior UX/UI Designer quite nicely! In her free time, Hannah loves a good adventure and can often be found exploring nature and cities alike, climbing rocks, or dancing barefoot in the grass to live music.

Jessica Mendez
Marketplace Operations Manager
Hometown: Gilbert, AZ
Favorite Word: Guffaw
Jessica Mendez
Long before Verblio, Jessica lived to surround herself with readers, writers, and fellow word-lovers. Although her career temporarily shifted as she got her master’s degree in human and family development, she found her way back when she started an online feminist publication with two awesome female writers. Today, as operations associate for the writing community of Verblio, Jessica gets to do what makes her truly happy. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys building jigsaw puzzles, eating Thai food, and finding new ways to justify buying just one more houseplant.

Meghan Hauser
Customer Success Manager
Hometown: Toms River, NJ
Favorite Word: Cute
Meghan Hauser
As a Customer Success Manager, Meghan loves creative problem solving and helping customers get the most out of Verblio. She is a New Jersey native and spent the first 6 years of her career working in startups in New York City. Her love of nature and fresh mountain air made relocating to Denver a no-brainer. In her free time you can find her at the dog park with her terrier or exploring everything her new city has to offer.

Emily Bosak
Enterprise Customer Success Manager
Hometown: Phoenix, AZ
Favorite Word: Ardent
Emily Bosak
It’s fitting that her favorite word is “ardent” because Emily certainly is passionate about a lot. From rock climbing, to photography, to philosophy, she’s usually busy honing her crafts or learning something new. A jack of all trades, master of none, isn’t too bad...actually it’s fun! If she were a fruit, Emily would be a mango, so I could live somewhere tropical.

Kat Crossman
Associate Product Manager
Hometown: Rome, NY
Favorite Word: Bequem
Kat Crossman
Kat brings her mixed background in marketing, design, and programming to her role as an Associate Product Manager here at Verblio. Able to step into the shoes of her fellow Verblions as well as that of the customer, Kat takes an empathy-first approach, always listening intently and wanting to provide the best experience she can for each. When she’s not at work, you’ll find her sketching house plans, enjoying the outdoors, traveling, and drinking coffee. Lots and lots of coffee!

TJ Raszka
Operations Manager
Hometown: Denver, CO
Favorite Word: Touché
TJ Raszka
T.J. has been in the customer relations industry for almost 15 years, so it’s safe to say he’s a people person. Currently residing in Denver, CO and having lived in places like New York, California, Chicago, and Michigan, he’s no stranger to travel. Work actually seems to be the only thing that makes T.J. sit still, as in his free time, you’ll usually find him rock climbing, hiking, camping, snowboarding, road-tripping, or just getting lost in the outdoors (sometimes literally).

Jo Hutchison
Sr. UI/UX Designer
Hometown: Dallas, TX
Favorite Word: Sonder
Jo Hutchison
Hailing from sunny Austin, TX, Jo is enthusiastic about pretty colors, user empathy, and organized thinking. When she’s not obsessing over finding the perfect shade of gray, she’s usually either inventing a recipe, binge-reading sci-fi/fantasy novels, or exploring all of the nerdy LARPing bars that Austin has to offer.

Mollie MacLeod
Operations Associate, Client Success
Hometown: Sammamish, WA
Favorite Word: Indubitably
Mollie MacLeod
Born and raised in the PNW, Mollie is no stranger to the cult-like obsession with the outdoors. When they aren’t spending their free time practicing yoga, reading, and enjoying the mountains, Mollie loves connecting with people and making sure they are getting all they need from Verblio. In their off hours, Mollie is passionate about creating art, traveling, and spending time with their crazy orange monster, Montero.
