Whether you have scars from a work-related injury, or from a fall-prone hobby, we can help.

We often will have people who come to our office because they have a scar on their body which they would like to reduce. Below are some of the ways that people receive scars and why they will come to us.

Work Accidents

Depending on what industry a person works in, there are many opportunities for injuries and scars from injuries. Even scars that are often hidden by long pants or sleeves can be devastating to the victim. We have helped many people who have been injured on the job to feel better about themselves by reducing their scars’ appearances.

Defective Products

When a product is defective and it doesn’t work the way that it should, a lot of people are injured using the product and some of these injuries can lead to a scarring claim against the company who made the product. Some of the most devastating scars that we see are to children, because they are so young and they often are injured simply because they were playing with a favorite toy. Whether young or old, all of our patients receive the best care possible for reducing their scars.

Road Accidents

When a pedestrian, bicyclist or motorcyclist is in an accident, often they will have damage that leads to scarring because of the accident. This is especially true when the person isn’t wearing the right kind of gear, like helmets or protective clothing. These scars can be to any part of the body and they range from scars from cuts to scars from burns. Some of the worst scars we see come from road accidents and they can be quite devastating.

School Accidents

Many children are injured when they have been in an accident at school. This can range from being injured on the playground to be injured in the classroom due to an explosion or a cut while doing a laboratory experiment in science. We have a special place in our hearts for children and we do everything we can to make them feel better about themselves.

If you have a scar which you would like to make less noticeable, why not make an appointment and come to see one of our dermatologists? We will do all that we can to help you.
