From the mouths of verblions

Verblio embraces quirkiness in all of its forms. Gamers, musicians, foodies, avid readers, skiers--we come together to make a melting pot of weird awesomeness.

Caroline Rideout Head of Customer Success

Verblio prioritizes 1:1s with team members. Our CEO meets at least quarterly with every Verblion. Frequent 1:1s is a key way we identify how best to support employees & teams, how to advance people's growth, & make efficient progress on critical projects. And we just love spending time together!

Zoe Treeson Senior Director of Operations

One of the coolest things about Verblio is that success isn’t necessarily linked to an ideal background or education. If you’re curious, resilient, and legitimately interested in solving problems, you’ll not only find success but also endless opportunities to explore your own strengths.

Director of Partnerships & Strategic Expansion Expand

Hopefully you’re the vivacious and visionary Director of Partnerships and Strategic Expansion we’ve been looking for.

Let’s talk about your childhood. Were you the kind of kid who strategically traded stuff from their lunchbox for even more delicious stuff from other kids’ lunchboxes? Did you merge and acquire and partner with peers to create The Most Incredible Lunch Possible all while staying likable, popular, and not being a jerk bully?

First of all, well done. Second of all, Lunchables are disgusting. Third of all, your personality and natural talents and intellect are just what we need.

About Us:

Verblio is a unique content creation platform based in Denver, CO.  Content is vital to modern marketing—but it’s really hard to do well and at scale. To help companies scale content without sounding like robots (or using AI…), Verblio nurtures a network of over 3,000 writers—plus a marketplace business model and an easy-to-use platform for collaboration. Creating content that powers content marketing is what we do. We fuel growth for businesses, digital agencies, publishers, and in-house marketers. And we’re exceptionally good at it.

Want to join our quest for friendly world domination? This is the job you were born to do.

About the role:

Verblio’s Director of Partnerships & Strategic Expansion will identify new channels for revenue growth, prioritize them, and capture via partnerships, new product development, or acquisition.  You'll be a member of our Revenue Team and will regularly collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, Product Development, and other teams to accelerate our already rapid revenue growth.

As the first Director of Partnerships & Strategic Expansion at Verblio, you’ll architect our partnerships and corporate development approach, then roll up your sleeves to execute on the strategy you’ve built. You should like to work alone, and with friends. You should like meeting people at trade shows, and then thinking strategically about partnering with them or maybe even acquiring them. You should trade Gogurt for Flaming Hot Cheetos every time, because it’s an obvious upgrade.

This full-time, exempt position will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and capturing strategic partnerships and other growth opportunities. The content marketing industry, and the mar-tech space in general, are loaded with potential strategic partners who could amplify Verblio’s presence in the marketplace and catapult our capabilities (and revenue) forward. Some might be channel partners, referral partners, or acquisition targets, and we need someone to create the strategy, then make it happen. It’s worth noting that our brand and team are a huge asset—Verblio stands out in a sea of boring sameness and people want to work with us because they like us.  You should stick a metaphorical fulcrum in there and leverage it.
  • Optimize and grow our affiliate program. We’ve built a sustainable and profitable base of referral partners just by hanging our shingle, but haven’t properly leveraged these evangelists to get full value from the program. This is fertile territory for someone with experience building a referral network, or with ideas for how to optimize the solid foundation that’s already in place.
  • Do all of this in a bootstrapped startup environment. The three things above are hard. But, because we like challenges, it’s worth reiterating that we’re a bootstrapped startup and there are resource constraints that come along with that. (But also a huge degree of freedom in how you get it done). Verblio team members seek out ways to go above and beyond their responsibilities for the good of the team, the platform, and our community.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • 5+ years of partnerships and/or corp dev experience.
  • Zeal for content marketing & SEO.
  • Great interpersonal and networking skills
  • Love for building new things.
  • An objectively great personality and a love for…other objectively great personalities
  • Demonstrated ability to identify strategic opportunities, align the right stakeholders, and lead the charge to capture them.
  • Experience evaluating and making build/buy/partner decisions.
  • Desire and ability to do high-powered strategic work, but also to get your hands in the dirt and get stuff done. (and if you enjoy literally getting your hands in the dirt, you should join our #greenthumbs slack channel)
  • Want to be part of an all-star team who prioritizes having fun, enjoying the quirkiness of our users, and over delivering (because it’s the right thing to do).
  • Cool or unexpected skills we haven’t mentioned? Let’s hear them.

What makes Verblio a great place to work?

  • Competitive salary and stock options.
  • Stylish sock options

  • Health, dental & vision insurance with a  generous monthly company contribution
  • Flexible paid time off and holidays.
  • Last Fridays Off
  • Truly awesome team of people- we don’t have needless meetings, don’t tolerate egos, and genuinely like each other. You will love it.
  • We believe in doing good, and that creating great opportunities for home-based writers is just as important as helping our clients find their next customer.
  • Did we mention we’re growing like mad? It’s way more fun to be on a rocketship than riding in circles on a model train set. (No disrespect to model train enthusiasts.) We made the Inc 5000 list for the second year in a row, won our sixth Mercury 100 award as one of the fastest-growing companies in the Boulder Valley, and just made the Colorado Companies to Watch list.
  • We work hard, have fun, learn a lot, and are proud of our transparent, collaborative culture. We have a low turnover rate because people love working here. We’re looking for someone that wants to be a part of that. Have you read the website? That’ll give you a good idea of our energy.
  • This position pays $85,000-105,000/year, commensurate with experience, plus an annual bonus.

Excited about this opportunity? We’re excited to meet you! Click here to apply with your resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile link, and your favorite 1-2 sentences that show you went deep into this job description and it speaks to you.

Director of Lead Generation Expand

Is networking your love language and follow-through your forte? On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being “Meh, I’ll just see what happens” and 10 being “Step aside, please. I’m about to get after it,” are you a 13? If you’re innately enthusiastic and possess the power of persuasion, if you love to evangelize about awesome products and stuff you’re into, this could be the role for you.

Verblio’s sales team is looking for a Director of Lead Generation

We need you to be a trailblazer, boldly populating the pipeline in never-before-seen ways. You’ll take to the metaphorical high seas, building a team of fearless BDRs to land clients so big, we’ll have to get a bigger boat. You’ll strategize and harmonize cross-functionally, because we bring the funk. You don’t HAVE to be weird to succeed here, but it sure wouldn’t make you stand out either.

About Us:

Verblio is a unique content creation platform based in Denver, CO. Content is vital to modern marketing—but it’s really hard to do well and at scale. To help companies scale content without sounding like robots (or using AI…), Verblio  nurtures a network of over 1,000 writers—plus a marketplace business model and an easy-to-use platform for collaboration. Creating the content that powers content marketing is what we do. We fuel growth for businesses, digital agencies, publishers and in-house marketers. And we’re exceptionally good at it.

About the role:

As Verblio’s Director of Lead Generation, you will own the top of the sales funnel, filling it with new opportunities that you and your team identify, engage, and qualify.  You'll be a member of the sales team but will collaborate constantly with Marketing to make sure we’re tapping into the full power of our brand to attract and engage our next big clients.

You’ll own and evolve  our already successful lead gen strategy, rolling up your sleeves and working as a player/coach with your team of BDRs to execute.

This full-time, exempt position will be responsible for:

  • Creating a 1+1=3 effect with our Marketing team. We have an outstanding track record of success driving new leads via outbound, and our Marketing friends are wizards when it comes to making sure our brand shows up in the right places at the right times. You’ll join forces with Marketing to manage and evolve our strategy for sponsorships, conferences and other creative ways to uncover new leads, then your team will drive those leads straight to our pipeline via tenacious follow up. Most companies only dream of the results this cross functional collaboration will create, and you’ll be in the driver's seat.
  • Building a healthy pipeline of qualified outbound opportunities. In addition to the leads you’ll generate from sponsorships and content marketing communities, you and your team of BDRs will prospect into our ICPs via good old fashioned 1:1 outreach. You’ll coach and develop a growing team of BDRs who will each contribute to our revenue goals by adding new, qualified leads to the funnel.
  • Leading a team of BDRs to success. You’ll be a player/coach to a growing team of BDRs, tapping your natural leadership skills and scrappy sales prowess to make sure they’re amazing ambassadors of the Verblio brand, deeply engaged and vivacious Verblions, and strong sales performers that hit monthly goals and create new opportunities within our target market.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • 5+ years of experience managing an outbound funnel
  • Experience building and leading a team of BDRs
  • Intrinsic motivation to set and exceed aggressive goals
  • Great interpersonal and networking skills
  • Love for building, testing and improving new things.
  • An objectively great personality and a love for…other objectively great personalities
  • Demonstrated ability to create  and manage a sales pipeline
  • Pipedrive expertise, or transferable skills from other sales CRMs
  • Desire and ability to do high-powered strategic work, but also to get your hands in the dirt and get stuff done. (and if you enjoy literally getting your hands in the dirt, you should join our #greenthumbs slack channel)
  • A passion for team building and leadership, including finding and developing talent

  • This position pays $85,000 - $125,000 OTE, including base salary, incentive compensation and annual bonus.

Excited about this opportunity? We’re excited to meet you! Click here to apply with your resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile link, your favorite 1-2 sentences that show you went deep into this job description and it speaks to you, compensation expectations, and how you heard about us.

Business Development Representative Expand

We’re looking for a Business Development Representative to join our rapidly growing team!

We’re Verblio: a unique content writing startup based in Denver, CO. Content is a core foundation of modern marketing. But, it’s really hard to create quality content, particularly at scale. Modern content marketing requires time, resources, and talent, and many companies simply can’t reasonably or cost-effectively staff in-house.

That’s where we come in. By combining a marketplace business model with the flexibility and deep vertical expertise of SaaS, Verblio enables writers to create 70,000+ pieces of unique content per year for our customers. With a network of over 3,000 professional writers, Verblio provides the platform for modern digital agencies, businesses, enterprises, and publishers to create effective content solutions.

To do all of this, we’ve created a high-performing SaaS startup led by a 15-year marketplace industry veteran and staffed by a team of energetic, eclectic startup junkies, writing enthusiasts, and random liberal arts degree collectors.

We’ve been on a full-tilt growth spurt for several years and have grandiose plans for world domination in the near future...and that’s where you come in!  We are looking for the right Business Development Representative to join our team and help us fuel this rocket.

Ready?

About the role:

Does evangelizing a solution that’s in demand and helps your customers grow their businesses energize you? On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being “Meh, I’ll just see what happens” and 10 being “Step aside, please. I’m about to get after it,” are you a 13? Have you decided big companies are just not your thing and you can’t get enough of the startup / growth company life?

If so, read on, we’ve got something exciting.

NOTE: this job description might be different from others you’ve read. Our goal is to paint a picture of where we are, the opportunities we have, and what we need. So, give it a read. If you think “damn, that sounds absolutely energizing!” we want to talk to you. If you think “I’m pretty lost” or “these people are insane,” this probably isn’t the right role for you.

Here’s the situation …

Our core offering is content creation for digital marketing- think editorial-style content, like blogs, ebooks and white papers. Our network of freelance writers create content for astoundingly niche businesses, while our software & services are designed to fulfill the needs of digital marketing agencies who need that content at scale.

BUT to take things to the next level (or add more boosters to the rocket if you were into that analogy) we need some serious top of funnel traction, and are growing our team of BDRs to make that happen.

As Business Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Finding and starting conversations with the right prospects at marketing agencies, publishers and enterprises to introduce Verblio and create new, qualified sales opportunities.
  • Creating fresh, engaging written copy that grabs the attention of the prospect and leaves them wanting more.
  • Smoothly transitioning opportunities you’ll find to your colleagues on the revenue team so they can nurture and close them, or in certain circumstances, get them across the finish line yourself.
  • Partnering with our marketing team to make sure our sponsorship dollars are put to good use. This might mean strategic LinkedIn engagement, adding value in an influential marketing Slack group, or pulling booth duty (when it’s safe) to create new opportunities.
  • Evangelizing The why internally and externally. Always.

Probably some specifics would be helpful.

Create new sales opportunities. Our product team has built amazing solutions to our prospects’ problems, and marketing has dialed-in the messaging and collateral we need to tell them about it. You’ll knock on doors (OK, not literally) to share all of this and find our next happy clients.

Help us continue to be the friendliest content creation platform out there. Hunting for new business can sometimes feel transactional, and deservedly gets a bad rap as a result. This is not that type of selling. As the face of our brand to new prospects, you’ll reach out as one part Verblio evangelist and two parts altruist so we continue to build strong client partnerships from the start.

Be our eyes and ears in the marketplace. Even though we’ve been at this a while (over 11 years, in fact), we’re always learning. And since you’ll be having as many conversations with prospective clients as anyone, we’ll look to you for breaking news on new trends and developments (read: opportunities) to help keep our marketing and product teams out in front.

Do all of this in a bootstrapped startup environment. The three things above are hard. But, because we like challenges, it’s worth reiterating that we’re a bootstrapped startup and there are resource constraints that come along with that. (But also a huge degree of freedom in how you get it done.)

Whew! If you’re reading this and still feeling psyched, definitely keep reading.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • 1-3 years of new business development experience.
  • An intrinsic drive to break new ground and make things happen.
  • A solid understanding and interest in content marketing and SEO. Bonus points for understanding the nuances of how marketing agencies operate and grow, especially through content.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (especially written communication).
  • Unlimited creativity and curiosity.
  • Self starter mentality with the ability to work independently and as a team.
  • A desire to do all of this (and it’s a lot) in a startup environment where budgets aren’t unlimited, systems can be complex & imperfect, and scrappiness is required.

What makes Verblio a great place to work?

  • We work hard, have fun, learn a lot, and are proud of our transparent, collaborative culture.
  • We believe in doing good, and that creating great opportunities for home-based writers is just as important as helping our clients find their next customer.
  • We made the Inc 5000 list for the second time and won our sixth Mercury 100 award as one of the fastest-growing companies in the Boulder Valley.
  • We offer equity, health, dental & vision insurance, and a generous vacation policy.
  • This position pays $45,000 - $55,000/year, commensurate with experience, plus monthly performance-based commissions..

Excited about this opportunity? If so, click here to apply with your resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile link, and your favorite 1-2 sentences that show you went deep into this job description and it speaks to you.

Content Marketing Manager Expand

We’re looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join our legitimately fantastic team!

Verblio is a content creation platform based in Denver, CO. We are content marketing enthusiasts with an amazing brand and platform. We’re in full-tilt growth mode with grandiose plans for world domination (the friendly kind) and show no signs of slowing down. Content is vital to modern marketing—but it’s really hard to do well and at scale. (It’s hard to do great things in large quantities. That’s why wedding food is often so bad.)  To help companies do that, Verblio nurtures a network of over 3,000 writers—plus a marketplace business model and an easy-to-use platform for collaboration—to allow modern digital agencies, businesses, enterprises, and publishers to create great content. Our entire business is based on content creation, AND, we need help doing it for ourselves.

We’re led by a 15-year marketplace industry veteran and staffed by a team of energetic, eclectic startup junkies, writing enthusiasts, and random liberal arts degree collectors as we brew this powerful SaaS + marketplace potion. We’re intoxicating and we think you’re going to like it.

We are looking for the right Content Marketing Manager to join our team.

About the role:

This content marketing role is a bit different. Rather than being laser-focused on longform writing for SEO, as many content marketing gigs are, this is an opportunity for someone who loves trying new things, building content across many channels, and generally being a jack-of-all trades. Yes, you’ll do some writing, and specialize in content, but you’ll also be a generalist in some ways.

Marketing at Verblio:

Our job is kinda meta: we build and distribute content marketing for a content creation company that’s focused on helping other companies do content marketing.

It’s kinda funny, but it also means we’re in a crowded space: if we create run of the mill content about content marketing, it means we’re competing for attention in the SERP and the mind of our prospect with companies you might’ve heard of like HubSpot, Moz, etc., etc.

So, we have to be either more thoughtful than that about what we target, or we have to create better content. Or, ideally, both.

But, we’ve got some cool things going for us too:

  • A 50 DA
  • A brand that is starting to turn heads in our space
  • Strong partners in SEO, copywriting, design
  • A content marketing team that can’t wait to work with you
  • An awesome tech platform backed by awesome humans
  • A leadership team 100% invested in content marketing

And, we’ve got some a number of vehicles for content, too:

  • Our blog
  • Our site in general
  • A shiny podcast (Yes, and Marketing)
  • A sizeable email list
  • Our customer base
  • Stickers
  • Trade show booths (as much as Omicron allows)

Until recently, Verblio’s business was built almost entirely on inbound marketing. We’ve got a strong inbound funnel that’s working—it delivers 20+ new customers per week, almost like clockwork.

Here’s the big picture for your role:

It’s time for us to scale up our content. What we’ve done so far in the content marketing space has been good, but we believe that getting to great—and doing more of it—can help us accelerate our growth even further. With that in mind,

The content team has external customers:

  • There’s more room to grow our inbound funnel, and now that we’ve fueled the rocketship with proven content success, it’s time to blast off.
  • We’re doubling down on customer experience, and that means building even more content to engage and retain customers.

The content team has internal customers:

  • There’s a lot more room to grow through outbound sales and partnerships. Those teams need content.
  • Our product marketing team is awesome and hard at work packaging our offerings to go after new verticals and markets. It’s hard to go to market without any supporting content.
  • The marketing team builds a lot of cool shit (email, social media, case studies, a website, etc. etc.). We help.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

Write: Writing longform, top of funnel articles isn’t your primary job, but you’ll still be writing. Things you might write as part of this role:

  • Social copy to distribute our content on LinkedIn
  • Case studies
  • SEO refreshes
  • Editing content from outside writers
  • An automated email sequence for a sales winback campaign

Design: We have a top-notch design contractor, but that’s in part because our existing content team is better at words than pictures. Hopefully you can help.

  • Beautiful slide decks for thought leadership presentations or as sales enablement tools
  • Infographics for social media
  • Images for email campaigns
  • “This free template we gated should really be a beautiful, fillable PDF instead of a black and white Google sheet”

Video: Marketers talk a lot about how important video is, but few marketing teams do it right. This is one place we’d like to level up.

  • Turn raw footage from a weekly podcast into a YouTube sensation
  • Add some production quality to a boring product video recorded in Loom
  • Make video a consistent and successful part of our content strategy

Try new things:

  • Verblio has never done a webinar. We probably should - want to produce a webinar?
  • We once had the wild idea to make an adult coloring book as a takeaway from our booth at a trade show. Maybe you can help make it happen.

Distribute, distribute, distribute:

We’ll be honest: content promotion and amplification isn’t our strong suit. Maybe it’s because our marketing team has historically been a bit introverted. Maybe it’s because we’ve got a lot going on. Or maybe it’s because content promotion is f&*(ing hard. Regardless of the reason, we need some help in this area. The person in this role will be great at link building, driving engagement, and experimenting with new ways to get eyeballs on our content.

Oh! One more thing!

This role will report to our Director of Content Marketing, and while content marketing will be your main gig, there are other areas of marketing that have lots of opportunity. For example, in keeping with the way this role is meta, you might take your best practices and help turn them into a new product. We’re looking for someone who’s jazzed about this, because we’re jazzed about this!

What you will need to be successful in this role:

A disclaimer (because this job description isn’t long enough)

It would take a million years to find someone who is already a pro at everything we talked about in the last section and who is sheer perfection on every one of the following bullet points. We aren’t looking for that person. Verblio is an organization that values smart, flexible humans who love to learn, and we want to talk to folks who are rockstars at some of these things, and desperate excited to learn about the rest.

So, to be successful in this role, you’ll need most of these:

  • 3+ years of content marketing experience.
  • A voracious appetite for building content, because you thoroughly enjoy it.
  • Comfort with video editing software and a desire to use it.
  • Social media experience (particularly LinkedIn).
  • Strong writing and editing skills. While you won’t primarily be researching and generating longform content from scratch, you’ll still be writing.
  • A basic understanding of SEO (and willingness to learn more).
  • Effective communication with cross-functional teams. Those internal customers have to know that we’ve got their back, and that means clear, direct communication (and a healthy dash of project management at times).
  • The desire to do what it takes to effectively promote and distribute content in our space—get out there (virtually) make connections, pitch, etc.
  • A desire to do all of this in a startup environment where budgets aren’t unlimited, systems can be complex & imperfect, and scrappiness is required.
  • Analytical skills. We believe that (most) content should be measured.
  • A firm belief that content marketing is a team sport.
  • Bonus points for experience at a digital marketing agency.
  • Cool or unexpected skills that would make you great for the role but we haven’t mentioned? Let’s hear them.

We’ll warn you in advance that this isn’t your traditional 9-5. We believe that “work-life balance” is a misnomer, because it implies the two are opposed - and your work life shouldn’t be in opposition with the rest of your life. We’re marketing nerds, not workaholics. We love getting away from work and going on a hike (yep, Colorado af), but we also ponder the ways AllTrails handles SEO for each trailhead URL and we ooooh and ahhh over the dynamic content in REI’s emails.

What makes Verblio a great place to work:

Verblio has a vibrant company culture. We’re smart, welcoming, creative, and engaged in our jobs. We love to share resources and recommendations. We like to make each other laugh. We care about our jobs, but not so much that it kills us. We care about our families, our communities, our hobbies, and our mental health, too. We have a low turnover rate because people love working here. We’re looking for someone that wants to be a part of that.

Other reasons Verblio is an awesome place to work:

  • Competitive equity package built by people who have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to startup equity packages.
  • Health, dental & vision insurance with a  generous monthly company contribution.
  • Flexible paid time off and holidays.
  • Last Fridays of the month off.
  • Consistent investment in employee growth. We don’t just talk the talk, we put time and dollars behind helping you grow.
  • You’ll have a high degree of ownership and opportunity to inspire your passion and personal fulfillment.
  • Did we mention we’ve got a really fun team culture and everyone is delightfully intelligent and that we share a wonderful set of company values? We don’t have needless meetings, don’t tolerate egos, and genuinely like each other. It’s awesome.
  • We’re growing, and it’s way more fun to be on a rocketship to the stars than riding in circles on a model train set. (No disrespect to model train enthusiasts.). We made the Inc 5000 list for the third year in a row, won our sixth Mercury 100 award as one of the fastest-growing companies in the Boulder Valley, and just made the Colorado Companies to Watch list.
  • Some day when we can safely co-locate again, we’ve got in-person perks like free food & drink, fun events,  a hip centrally-located Denver office, a free RTD Eco-pass, etc… Some day.
  • This position pays $55,000-70,000
  • Have you read the website? That’ll give you a good idea of our energy.

Operations

Marketplace Operations Associate Expand

Seeking an operations associate who is ready to uplevel our ability to balance our writer community with our client needs.

We’re brewing something exciting here at Verblio, a content creation platform powered by a one-of-a-kind network of over 3,000 professional writers that empowers growing businesses to create quality content, at scale, in every niche.

Great content fuels customer acquisition and retention for the fastest-growing businesses today. That content takes time, resources, and talent. Without it, many companies simply can’t compete. That’s where we come in.

We’re in full-tilt growth mode with grandiose plans for world domination (the friendly kind) that show no signs of slowing down. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, creative Marketplace Operations Associate to help us fulfill that vision.

Behind our SaaS platform and marketplace is a team of energetic, eclectic startup junkies who love working hard together and are proud of our amazing brand and transparent, collaborative culture. We believe in doing good and fueling growth for our writers and our customers.

What you’ll do at Verblio

The Marketplace Operations Associate helps oversee our writer community. You will be one of the lead advocates for our writers within Verblio, and likewise be a representative for Verblio within our writer community as you use research, platform data, and writer feedback to help the Marketplace Operations team to create programs, policies, and incentives that foster the ideal writer behavior for quality, fulfillment, and customer alignment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the MOPs team’s visibility within the writer community, helping our writers feel more connected and understood by the Verblio team
  • Assisting the Director of Marketplace Operations and the Senior Manager of Marketplace Operations to develop a robust writer recruitment strategy that considers specific areas of expertise and overall customer demand trends
  • Testing specific programs and policies that drive optimal writer behavior that most closely aligns with successful client outcomes, such changes to writer communications, how we enforce pre-existing policies, and potential incentive programs
  • Identifying and developing important documentation, help pages, and tutorials that improve the writer experience and a self-service model
  • Managing weekly writer payouts and payout reporting
  • Reviewing and responding to writer support tickets
  • Reviewing and responding to reports on writer plagiarism and poor quality content

A little bit about you

  • 2+ years of general operations experience
  • 2+ years of communications, journalism, or content marketing experience
  • A healthy appetite for experimentation and constant iteration
  • A strong foundation in working with multiple SaaS tools and platforms, such as Metabase, Asana, Intercom, etc. (or proven confidence in learning and implementing such tools)
  • Major bonus points for experience managing a two-sided platform.
  • Zeal for working with a kick-ass team hell-bent on having a great time, enjoying the quirkiness of our users, and overdelivering (because it’s the right thing to do).
  • Cool or unexpected skills we haven’t mentioned? Let’s hear ‘em!

You’ll love working at Verblio because of our:

  • Competitive salary and stock options.
  • Stylish sock options

  • Truly awesome team of people - we don’t have needless meetings, don’t tolerate egos, and genuinely like each other. It’s awesome.
  • Vibrant company culture. We’re smart, welcoming, creative, and engaged in our jobs. We have a low turnover rate because people love working here. We’re looking for someone who wants to be a part of that.
  • Did we mention we’re growing like mad? It’s way more fun to be on a rocket ship than riding in circles on a model train set. (No disrespect to model train enthusiasts.) We made the Inc 5000 list for the second year in a row, won our sixth Mercury 100 award as one of the fastest-growing companies in the Boulder Valley, and just made the Colorado Companies to Watch list.
